As the year draws to a close, it is the perfect time to reflect on the moments, milestones and stories that shaped 2025 for The Foot Stop Podiatry. From welcoming new patients to expanding our services and continuing to support our community, this year has been filled with growth, gratitude and meaningful connections.
Here is a look back at some of the highlights.
Supporting More Patients Across Elanora and Beyond
This year we had the privilege of caring for families, workers, athletes and older adults across Elanora, the wider Gold Coast and Northern NSW. Our mobile service continued to grow, allowing us to reach people who prefer or require home visits. These appointments have become an important part of how we support our community.
A Busy Year for Foot Health
From heel pain flare ups and diabetic foot checks to children’s foot concerns and summer injuries, 2025 was a year where many people prioritised comfort and mobility. We are grateful to be trusted with these moments where foot health directly influences daily life, activity and wellbeing.
Steady Growth in Children’s Podiatry
We saw an increase in families seeking guidance for flat feet, heel pain, walking patterns and school shoe checks. Supporting children through growth stages continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of our work.
Strengthening Local Connections
We value the partnerships we have built with local GPs, allied health providers and community groups. These relationships help us ensure continuity of care and better outcomes for our patients.
A Focus on Education
Throughout the year, we shared practical advice on preventing injuries, choosing footwear, managing activity loads and understanding common foot conditions. Empowering our community through education remains a key part of our mission.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move into the new year, our focus remains the same: providing thoughtful, evidence based care to help our community move comfortably and confidently.
In 2026, we aim to continue expanding our reach across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, strengthen our home visit service and further support families navigating foot and ankle concerns.
We are genuinely grateful for the trust, kindness and support shown to us throughout 2025.
From our team to yours, we wish you a safe, happy and restful holiday season, and a wonderful start to the new year.
